With over 25 years experience in chiropractic, we appreciate how difficult and trying it can be for an individual who feels pain and discomfort on a regular basis. We believe that the vertebral subluxation is the major cause of the majority of those pains and discomforts. Services

There are three phases of Chiropractic care. Initial Intensive Care is the Relief Phase of care. This phase is where we reduce or eliminate your pain and discomforts. Corrective Care is just that, Corrective. This phase is meant to correct your subluxations as well as strengthen muscles and improve spinal function. Maintenance/Wellness Care is the phase meant to maintain the health of your spine after correction and stabilization has been made. Regular check-ups at this phase help us catch small problems before they turn into more serious ones. Maintenance care saves time and money by helping you stay well.

Symptoms

Chiropractors are experts in locating, analyzing and correcting of vertebral subluxations (spinal misalignments causing nerve root interference).

Most pains and symptoms that people experience are caused by subluxations. They range from neck pain, headaches, and shoulder problems to mid-back pain, lower back pain, sciatic problems, hip pain or stiffness and leg pain. And those are just a few of the musculo-skeletal problems that are helped with chiropractic adjustments.

Also. many visceral (organs) problems can be caused by nerve interference of subluxations. Heart problems, lung disorders, gallbladder problems, kidney problems, as well as stomach and digestion problems, can often be traced to interference to the nerves that control those organs. Again, this just a sample of the many visceral problems that have been helped with chiropractic adjustments.

What Is Chiropractic?

What separates Doctors of Chiropractic from all other healthcare providers is that Chiropractors are highly trained to locate analyze and correct Vertebral Subluxations. The word Subluxation comes from the latin words Sub (somewhat or slight) and luxate (to dislocate). So the term Vertebral Subluxation literally means a slight dislocation of the spinal bones, also called a misalignment.

When a Vertebral Subluxation occurs within the body, a Chiropractor corrects that Subluxation allowing it to return to its proper alignment. This procedure is accurately called an Adjustment, and will allow the body to heal. Adjustments are a quick thrust applied in a specific direction for the purpose of correcting its position. Adjustments in our office are gentle and without pain.
